I don't have tv in the house anymore. I watch all along with her so that I can judge and discuss all content. I have installed a blocker on the computer so that she can only view Woman seeking nsa Denison sites appropriate for her age. And what happens? This morning I go to the printer and find in the tray 50 pages of a packet titled "Learn Elvish"!!! including a dictionary of Elven terms. I think I would have been less horrified to find pornography. I am now picturing the sort of friends she bring home from high school pimply teenagers who wear capes and and use terms like, "yeah, verily" in everyday conversation. I am considering locking her in her room and blasting all of our "-'s" cd's under her door for a day or two, while forcing on her a diet of hotdogs and hamburgers (she's not fond of meat). How could this have happened right under my nose? Feel free to ignore this rant. I know that most of you don't have (Misnomer! learn from my mistake!). but the parenting forum is full of evil straight people. Now I go away.
